The Master Woodland Manager (MWM) program provides landowners with advanced, hands-on training and skill building in forest management through a combination on online learning and in-person field days. Each field day will be held outdoors at various woodland locations throughout Northeastern Oregon. Instructors to include forestry service agencies and organizations, OSU Faculty, and a number of other local professionals.
A defining feature of the program is its emphasis on community engagement — graduates are encouraged to share their knowledge and skills with neighbors, peers and local organizations. For more than 40 years, MWM graduates have helped sustain Oregon’s forests and strengthen community connections.
